Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All cases of breast (stage I, II, operable cases of stage III A) carcinoma, in whom modified radical mastectomy is planned.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Inoperable stage III and stage IV carcinoma breast 2. Patients who had received prior neoadjuvant chemotherapy 3. Patients who have received prior radiotherapy to the axilla 4. Patients in whom prior surgical intervention of the axilla had been done
