Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All Newly diagnosed cases of Tuberculos meningitis fulfilling consensus diagnostic criteria of TBM proposed by Marais et al (Lancet infect Dis 2010;10:803-12)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients already taking anti- tubercular drugs or steroids. 2. Patients with renal dysfunction (creatinine more than 1.5 mg/dl) 3. Human immunodeficiency virus disease 4. Patients/ attendants refusing consent
