Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 60 children of ASA I/II 2 Age range between 3-10 years 3 Type of surgery- 4 Orchidopexy 5 Circumcision 6 Hypospadiasis repair ï?§ Congenital hernia/ hydrocele repair

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Children 10 yrs 2 ASA III/IV 3 Patients with upper respiratory tract infection, asthma 4 Patients with cardiac, hepatic and renal dysfunction • Anticipated difficult intubation • History of allergy to the drugs used • History of any sedative drugs used • Children with a defined psychological or emotional disorder, cognitive or developmental delay

To observe the effect of intravenous Dexmedetomidine and intravenous Fentanyl in attenuation of emergence agitation after Sevoflurane anaesthesia in children using Five Point Emergence Agitation Scale.Timepoint: 20 minutes

1. To observe the recovery profile using Modified Aldrete Recovery Score. 2. To observe haemodynamic and respiratory parameters perioperatively. 3. To observe post operative complications and side effects. Timepoint: 20 min
