Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 18 to 60 years, of either gender, belonging to ASA I and II[no other prevailing illness or illness which are under control with medication, posted for hand or forearm surgery, that can be done using upper limb block, not requiring motor block will be enrolled for the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who need general anaesthesia, who need motor blockade, who are not willing to be awake during surgery, with known allergy to the anesthetic drug ropivacaine known difficult airway and who are more than ASA II physical status will be excluded.
