Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects aged above 18 years to 80 years. 2.Patients diagnosed with inflammatory demyelinating diseases of CNS

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients suffering from other neurologic conditions like systemic infections, Metabolic, nutritional, vascular, neoplastic, degenerative, radiation, toxic which may lead to secondary demyelination. 2.Age less than 18 years and more than 80 years are excluded.

MeasureTime frame
1.Etiology of inflammatory demyelinating diseases of CNS in south coastal Karnataka. 2.To determine the clinical profile,functional status,cognitive status of patients presenting with demyelinating diseases of Central nervous system.Timepoint: 1.At the time of admission.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To estimate the functional and cognitive status at 1 month follow up after dicharge in demyelinating diseases of CNS.Timepoint: One month follow up after discharge.
