Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for cases: Mothers who have intellectually disabled child and mothers of normal children in the age of 6-15 years. Mothers who are willing to respond to the questionnaire. Mothers who know to read and write Kannada and English. Inclusion criteria for controls: Mothers of children in the age group of 6-15 years. Mothers who are willing to respond to the questionnaire. Mothers who know to read and write Kannada and English.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Child with psychiatric illness. Mothers who are not available during the data collection period. The mothers who are not willing to attend the questionnaire. The caregivers of children other than mothers. The mothers who are chronically ill. The mothers who are illiterate.
