Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with clinical features suggestive of peripheral arterial disease of lower limbs 2.PAD patients with age >18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.PAD patients with gangrene of foot proximal to toes (fore foot/foot) 2.Recent history of CAD (within 3 months of screening) 3.Patient diagnosed with malignancy in present or past.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.To study the alteration in endothelial Nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), Interleukin-10, Interleukin-6, Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) and VEGF in patients with peripheral arterial disease as compared to controls. 2.To study association between the change levels of biomarkers and progression of the disease. Timepoint: baseline, one month, two month, three months and six months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To study association between the change levels of biomarkers and progression of the disease. Timepoint: Base line, one month two months third month and sixth month after intervention.
