Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a)Patients undergoing elective cholecystectomy b)BMI >30 c)ASA I and II d)Age >18

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a)ASA III and IV b)allergy to local anaesthetic c)Seizure disorder d)Anti-arrhythmic drug intake in the 1 week before surgery e)Renal/Hepatic Insufficiency f)Psychiatric disorders g)Steroid therapy h)Pregnancy i)Conversion to laparotomy
