Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with seropositive for HBV along with control, will be included as a source of samples to carry out this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Hepatitis of all other causes, leptospira and HIV infection will be excluded

Prevalence rate of HBV infection during 2014 to 2015 at a tertiary care hospital. Timepoint: Total number of sample received for HBV test: 9711 Total number of HBV positive case: 294 Prevalence rate was found to be 3%
