Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consecutive patients undergoing esophagectomy at Tata Memorial Centre.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients found inoperable at surgery 2. Patients where mandatory data is not available completely (for retrospective component of the study)

A web-based database,the ECCG consensus complications system can be utilized to accurately document the contemporary incidence of morbidity, mortality and critical quality outcomes associated with esophageal resection.Timepoint: 90 days
