Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. scheduled for elective bowel surgery. 2. ASA 1 or 2. 3. duration of surgery > 60 min. 4.Procedures where total gut irrigation is done to prepare the bowel (e.g. Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty,abdomino perineal pull through Duhamol procedure, colostomy closure, Hartmanâ??s procedure etc.)

Exclusion criteria: 1Cardiopulmonary disease 2.Renal insufficiency 3.Hepatic failure 4.Anticipated massive bleeding/severe hypotension 5.Emergency procedure 6.Hb
