Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: American society of anaesthesiologists class 1,2 and 3 Paediatric patients undergoing general anaesthesia for elective surgeries
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not meeting the standard fasting guidelines, having risk of aspiration 2. Patients with increased risk of regurgitation - eg; hiatus hernia, intestinal obstruction, sepsis 3. History of extrinsic or intrinsic airway obstruction due to trauma/mass/caustic substance ingestion 4. Potential difficult airways 5. Upper gastrointestinal tract surgeries in the past 6. Patients with esophageal pathology/Gastroesophageal reflux disease 7. Patients undergoing neurosurgery 8. Patients with poor lung compliance
