Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All cases of hypospadias for primary urethroplasty (including distal penile, mid penile, and proximal penile hypospadias without chordee) admitted in our Department are eligible for this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All cases of re-do urethroplasty or staged urethroplasty will not be considered for this study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine glanular complications (meatal stenosis, glanular dehiscence, glanular urethral stricture) after primary urethroplasty with and without vascular flap coverage of glanular neourethra.Timepoint: 6 months of followup.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the incidence of urethrocutaneous fistula (glanular or subcoronal) after primary urethroplasty with and without vascular flap coverage of glanular neourethra.Timepoint: 6 months of followup.;To determine the maximal versus minimal glans width impacting the outcome of glans dehiscenceTimepoint: 6 months of followup.
