Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: congenital heart disease paediatric patients within 2 to 12 years age planned for corrective open heart surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing palliative surgeries. 2. Child with developmental delay and/or with neurological disease (Cerebral palsy, Raised ICP etc. 3. Hepatic or renal complication , 4. Conduction disorders,coronary artery disease, 5. Allergy to benzodiazepines or alpha 2 receptor agonist drugs.
