Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: INCLUSION CRITERIA: The study includes infants who are, 1.aged 3 - 5 months; who are either exclusively breast feed or partially breast feed but have not started complementary feeding. 2.term /appropriate to gestational age. 3.age group between 3months to 1year. 4.attending pediatric outpatient department. The study includes mothers of infants who, 1.Can read & understand Tamil/English. EXCLUSION CRITERIA: 1.The study excludes infants who are, Critically ill. 2.having mal absorption syndrome. Known genetic anomaly, neurological disorder. The study excludes mothers of infants who are, 1.having adequate pretest score (>=76%) 2.fails to give consent for any reason. sick.
