Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients in age group 18-80 yr 2.Elective Thoracic surgery 3.ASA grade I,II, III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Paediatric patient ( 2.Patients requiring postoperative ventilation beyond the day of surgery. 3.Patients with cognitive impairment

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome is to evaluate the efficacy of analgesia based on severity of pain, the ability to mobilize and perform spirometry in first 48 hours in patients undergoing thoracic surgeries.Timepoint: 6 months data will be analysed

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes include, ability to perform spirometry as compared to preoperative levels, ability to mobilize and walking with comfort,surgical perception of pain relief, physiotherapistâ??s perception of pain relief.Timepoint: 6 months data will be analysed
