Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age group between 20-60years 2. Patients in good systemic health with no contraindication to periodontal surgery 3. Patients having a band of supragingival and/or subgingival calculus on lingual side of mandibular incisors. 4. Patients who had not received any type of periodontal therapy for the past 6 months 5. Patients not taking any immuno-suppressive drugs like corticosteroids 6. Involved teeth to be vital and asymptomatic 7. Patients with absence of any bleeding disorders

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients suffering from any systemic diseases or with compromised immune system. 2. Patients with a known history of drug allergy 3. Patients taking any drug known to cause gingival enlargement. 4. Pregnant and/or lactating mothers. 5. Endodontically treated teeth. 6. Patient on anticoagulant therapy.
