Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients being operated for lumbar spine surgeries in prone position 2)American society of anaesthesiologists(ASA) 1 and 2 3) Age 18-65 years of either sex 4) Duration of surgery 2-5 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Body mass index (BMI) > 30 2) Patients on steroid supplementation 3) Patients with obstructive or restrictive lung diseases 4)Patients with documented autonomic neuropathy 5)Patients with creatinine > 1.5 6)Patients operated for repeat spine surgeries 7) Patients not willing for surgery
