Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing laparoscopic abdominal surgery Age group 18 to 60 years ASA I-II Expected duration of surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with pre-existing shoulder pain of musculoskeletal origin Morbid obesity Known allergy to local anesthetic infiltration Chronic opioid treatment ASA III and above Duration of surgery > 2 hours
