Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Known type II diabetic patients with urine albumin >30 mg in 24 hours urine sample. 2. Patient having Blood Pressure (BP) mm of Hg. 3. Age in between 40 and 70 years irrespective of gender. 4. Patients eligible for Basti treatment. 5. Patient up to Stage 4 of kidney disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Micro-albuminuria induced due to other diseases such as pregnancy and chronic renal failure. 2. Patients with other severe complications of DM such as ketoacidosis and Uraemia. 3. Plasma Creatinine more than 5 mg/dl. 4. Any other serious systemic illness. 5. Patient contraindicated for Basti.
