Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Term and near term new born i.e. >= 35 weeks of gestational age. 2. Minimum birth weight 2000 gm. 3. Jaundiced newborns requiring phototherapy according to the AAP parameters

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Premature newborn (gestational age Ë? 35 weeks) 2. Low birth weight 3. Hemolytic jaundice
