Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
â?¢ Assessment of quality of life and pain scores in stage 4 lung cancer patients with moderate to severe pain receiving tramadol versus morphine at 3 weeks follow upTimepoint: â?¢ Assessment of quality of life and pain scores in stage 4 lung cancer patients with moderate to severe pain receiving tramadol versus morphine at 3 weeks follow up

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Symptom burden in stage 4 lung cancer patients 2. Association between Numerical rating scale (NRS) scores and QOL 3. Overall satisfaction of lung cancer patients with treatment. 4. Percentage of patients started on tramadol but converted to morphine at 3 weeks follow up. 5. Side effects pattern with tramadol and morphine in lung cancer patients 6. Cost effectiveness Timepoint: At 1 and 3 weeks of follow up
