Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients more than 18 yrs of age 2. Liver resection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any contraindication for central neuraxial blocks like Raised intra cranial pressures, Coagulation abnormalities, Previous neurological deficits, Local skin infections, Skeletal metastasis to vertebrae, patient not willing for central neuraxial block, BMI >25, obvious scoliosis or kyphosis
