Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA II and III obese patients aged 18-60 years with a BMI >35 undergoing laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia of duration 60-180 minutes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Refractory hemodynamic instability, including: a.SBP b.HR c. High grade AV block. 2) Clinically significant liver/renal dysfunction. 3) Neurovascular patients with a history of CVA/TIA. 4) Pregnancy or breast feeding. 5) Patient allergic to local anaesthetic drugs.
