Health Condition 1: null- Diabetic Patients undergoing abdominal surgeries on metformin tablet.

Interventions

Intervention1: Tab metformin: Metformin tablet will be continued in the morning of the surgery in hlf of tudy subjects

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Known diabetic patients who are on metformin with or without other hypoglycemic drugs undergoing abdominal surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Altered LFT Pregnant women ASA class 4,5 Serum creatinine > 1.5mg/dl Use of contrast during procedure
