Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients of paediatric age group 1-5yrs. 2)Patients undergoing elective infra umbilical surgeries (eg hypospadias, inguinal hernia, phimosis, lower limb and anorectal surgeries). 3)Parents giving valid informed consent. 4)American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindications to drugs under study 2. Bleeding disorder 3. Deformities of spinal column 4. Recent upper respiratory tract infections
