Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Symptomatic children with diagnosed Legg-Calve-Perthes disease < 12 years of age (any radiological stage)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Undiagnosed cases of Legg-Calve-Perthes disease. 2) Treated cases of Legg-Calve-Perthes disease. 3) Known cases of Legg-Calve-Perthes disease where there are specific contraindications for doing MRI.

Sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV of MRI as compared to Hip ArthroscopyTimepoint: After doing MRI and hip arthroscopy in each patient

MeasureTime frame
Functional outcome after doing hip arthroscopy in each patient by assessing Modified Harris Hip Score for each patientTimepoint: 6 weeks and 6 months
