Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA grade I and II 2. 18-65 years of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergy to local anaesthetics 2. Coagulopathy 3. COPD, hepatobilliary renal and cardiovascular diseases 4. BMI > 35 5. Cutaneous infection 6. ASA grade III and IV

1. Onset time of sensory block was earlier in majority(60%) of the patients in Group B 2. Onset time of motor block was earlier in Group B 3.Total duration of analgesia was significantly prolonged in Group B as compared to Group A 4. No additional analgesia was required in any case intraoperatively in both the groups 5. Hemodynamic status of all the patients was stable intraoperatively in both the groups Timepoint: 1.5 Years
