Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with ACR/EULAR classification criteria 2010 for RA more than or equal to 6. 2. All patients previously diagnosed as RA were also included in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Following patients were excluded from the study:- 1.Age less than 18 years 2.Patients on medication, which are known to cause thyroid dysfunction (like Lithium, Interferon alpha, β-blockers, etc.) 3.Patients with connective tissue disease other than RA. 4.Co-existing infection/malignancy. 5.Chronic liver or renal disease. 6.Diabetic patients. 7.Patients who were pregnant. 8.Patients who had undergone thyroidectomy. 9.All patients who refused to participate in the study.
