Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Transposition of Great Arteries 2.Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection 3.Tetralogy of Fallot 4.Tricuspid atresia 5.Univentricular Physiology 6.Shunts with reversal of flow 7. left to right shunts like ASD, VSD undergoing open heart surgery electively under cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Urgent / emergency surgeries; syndromic children; closed heart surgeries ; preoperative infection/ antibiotic administration and ventilation

Cardiac function evaluation on post op day1(ECHO), infection rate, ventilation duration , ICU and hospital stay. Vitamin D related adverse events (that is hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria) will be noted. Timepoint: Post operative course in ICU
