Inclusion criteria: patients presenting for elective coronary bypass grafting

Exclusion criteria: patients presenting fo emergenct surgery,poor left ventricle function

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.to quantify effect of sevoflurane and propofol on left ventricle systolic function using GLS/ Segmental strain in patients undergoing CABG 2. To evaluate utility bof GLS/Segmental strain of LV systolic function for predicting post operative outcome. the outcome parameters are inotropic score, duration of mechanical ventilation, duration of ICU stayTimepoint: Pre cardiopulmonary bypass, post cardiopulmonary bypass and in ICU at 24 hours post surgery

MeasureTime frame
1. to compare effect of sevoflurane and propofol on conventional echocardiographic parameters of LV systolic function ( wall motion score, ejection fraction , cardiac output) 2. to demonstrate correlation between wall motion score and segmental longitudinal strain 3. to demonstrate corelation between segmental longitudinal strain and angiographically defined perfusion defectsTimepoint: one and half year
