Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA I and II 2. Male or female 3. between 18-60 years undergoing elective laparoscopic surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patientâ??s refusal 2. History of allergy to opioids 3. History of uncontrolled cardiovascular conditions e.g. hypertension, ischemic heart disease, conduction defects etc. 4. Compromised renal/hepatic/ neuronal functions 5. Pregnant and lactating women 6. Endocrine disease e.g. hyper and hypothyroidism. 7. On any of the following drug e.g. calcium channel blockers, beta blockers, magnesium sulphate.
