Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of Avrana Kanda Bhagna (Closed fractures of forearm) 2.Pain and swelling on forearm. 3.On examination, presence of irregularity of the forearm bones. 4.History of trauma or radiological evidence of fracture.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Open fracture forearm. 2.Known case of DM. 3.Pregnant women. 4.Patients with other Systemic illness, which interferes with the course of treatment.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate analgesic effect of Asthisamharadi Granules and to assess the formation of callus and its progress.Timepoint: 30 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the improvement in quality of life (QoL) and if possible to measure the bone density after completion of the treatment.Timepoint: 12 months
