Intervention1: medial-oblique probe position for ultrasound guided axillary vein cannulation: Then the probe will be rotated approximately 30° anti-clockwise, in a medial- cephalad to lateral-caudad

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 18-50yrs of either sex and ASA PS I-III undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia will be recruited in this randomized prospective cross over study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: I. Patientâ??s refusal II. ASA PS > III III. Coagulopathy IV. Pregnancy V. BMI > 30.00 or BMI Patients with distorted neck anatomy and previous neck surgery

Relationship of axillary vein with axillary artery ii. Vertical and horizontal diameter of axillary veinTimepoint: At the time of ultrasound image generation immediately after induction of general anaesthesia
