Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Consecutive adult male patients in the age group of 25-50 years with primary, uncomplicated, unilateral/bilateral inguinal hernia will be included in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Following patients will be excluded from the study- 1.Female patients 2.Male 50yrs 3.Patients with history of previous surgery in the inguino-scrotal region 4.Recurrent inguinal hernia 5.Complicated hernia(irreducible, obstructed, strangulated) 6.Hydrocele 7.Epididymitis 8.History of orchidectomy 9.Patients with significant co-morbidities like coronary artery disease, uncontrolled hypertension and diabetes mellitus, chronic bronchitis, renal and hepatic failure 10.Patients unfit for general anesthesia(ASA 3 or 4) 11.Patients with uncontrolled coagulopathy 12.Patients not giving consent
