Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient with congenital congenital cataract 2.Age ranging from 6months to 10 years 3.ASA grade I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: •Children whose parents are unwilling to give consent, •Children who are mentally retarded or deaf, •Children with a history of allergy to local anaesthetics, •Significant cardiac , respiratory , hepatic or renal dysfunction. •Children with any other intraocular pathology like endophthalmitis or inï¬?ammatory disease,traumatic cataract,glaucoma
