Intervention1: listening visits: protocol will be prepared for village health nurses on management of postpartum depression it includes steps on listening visits for 8 sessions one hour each Control

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Mother with EPDS score of > 8 without suicidal ideation. -Mother who delivered within 4 weeks to 6 months of the period of data collection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: mother with known history of psychiatric disease
