Intervention1: Oral Dextrose 50% solution: Baby will be given oral D50 before undergoing heel prick, and pain assessment will be done using PIPP scale Control Intervention1: Kangaroo Mother Care: Baby

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All Newborns ( <37 weeks) admitted in Peoples Hospital undergoing heel prick for blood sugar test.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. TERM NEONATES ( >37 weeks) 2. NEONATES ON VENTILATOR. 3. NEONATES ON INOTROPIC SUPPORT OR CNS DEPRESSANT. 4. NEW BORNS WITH HISTORY OF BIRTH ASPHYXIA.
