Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with more than 34 weeks of gestation, undergoing caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia, willing to participate in the study. 2. Use of only Hyperbaric Bupivacaine for spinal anaesthesia. 3. Maternal age > 18 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing Systolic blood pressure 2. Patient taking any medications which affect blood pressure, other than anti- hypertensives. 3. Co-existent valvular or myocardial disease. 4. Use of epidural labour analgesia. 5. Use of systemic opioids.

To correlate maternal, foetal, anaesthesia and surgery related variables with hypotension after spinal anaesthesia.Timepoint: Immediately after spinal anaesthesia, patients were placed in supine position. Blood pressure was measured and noted down for the first 30 minutes after spinal anaesthesia, every 2 minutes for the first 10 minutes and every 5 minutes for the remaining 20 minutes. | — |
