Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children who have moderate to severe caries experience(more than 3 and less than 6)(WHO 2013) Gingival scores should be moderate and plaque scores should be fair according to plaque and gingival indices proposed by Silness and Loe(1964) and Loe and Silness (1963) respectively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No History of antibiotic therapy in the previous one month till the start of the study. Not Currently using any mouthwashes or have used mouthwash in the past 1 month. No Physical disability ,debilitating disease or mentally challenged or with gross orofacial defect. No orthodontic therapy No History of allergy to any kind of mouthwash. Stopped using the allocated test mouthwash during the period of study was considered a dropout.
