Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed and consented cases of Bhagandara (Fistula in ano) of age group of 25-70 years of either sex were selected. 2. Simple uncomplicated Bhagandara (Fistula in ano).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Age below 25 yrs. and above 70 yrs. 2.Fistula in ano associated with tuberculosis (pulmonary TB),diabetes mellitus, hypertension, anemia, amoebiasis were excluded in the study, subjected to the disease is under controlled state or pats with concomitant medication of these disease. 3.Tuberculosis of hip joint or spine (as the prognosis is not good) 4.Complicated fistula in ano like horse-show, pelvi-rectal. 5.Recurrent fistula after fistulectomy 6.Fistula in ano secondary to crohns disease/ sacral osteomyelitis 7.Incontinence of stools/stricture of anus 8.Major systemic illness as tuberculosis / malignancy/HIV-AIDS 9.Fistula connected with other organs like urethra, vagina etc. 10.Pregnancy
