Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criterion was: patients aged 18 years and above who underwent flexible bronchoscopy for any relevant indication.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were: suspected or confirmed cervical spine injury, conditions where transnasal approach for flexible bronchoscopy was not possible e.g. nasal trauma or narrow nasal passages which preclude the transnasal approach
