Intervention1: ANTIBIOTICS AFTER PERIODONTAL SURGERY: oral administration of AMOXICILLIN 500mg thrice daily for 5 days after periodontal surgery
Control Intervention1: WITHOUT ANTIBIOTIC AFTER PERIO

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged between 30 and 55 years with moderate to severe chronic periodontitis 2.Systemically healthy patients fit for periodontal surgery 3.Patients with good oral hygiene maintenance.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients allergic to Amoxicillin 2.Pregnant patients 3.Smokers 4.Previous periodontal surgery done in the same area 5.Antibiotic therapy taken 3 months prior to surgery
