Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children in the age group of 6-13 years with fully erupted bilateral first permanent molar teeth requiring fissure sealant due to high caries risk

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cases where one of the molar on either side is grossly carious or restored. Uncooperative patients Molar teeth with corresponding opposing tooth not present i.e. extracted or missing teeth on either side Mentally and physically handicapped patients

To compare the retention of fissure sealants placed on occlusal surfaces following the use of a self-etching adhesive and traditional phosphoric acid etching among 6-13 year school children in Bangalore cityTimepoint: 6 month and one year interval.
