Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA I and II patients 2. Aged 18-50 years, 3. Undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy under GA

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. BMI > 30 kg/m2 2. Allergy to any medication 3. Renal or hepatic insufficiency 4. Neurologic and psychiatric disease 4. Preoperative HR 5. On antihypertensive medication with any Î±2 adrenergic agonists e.g. clonidine 6.surgical procedure converted to open cholecystectomy
