Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: HbA1C greater than equal to 8%

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Proliferative retinopathy (PDR) 2. Chronic kidney disease (stage 4,5 and on renal replacement therapy) 3. Coronary artery disease (CAD) with symptoms of angina or angina equivalent 4. Congestive Heart failure with NHYA class 3 and 4 5. Advanced arthritis restricting movements while performing yoga practices 6. Severe painful neuropathy and/or foot ulcers 7. Pregnant women 8. Practitioners of yoga in the past 3 months
