Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects of osteoporotic spine with cement augmented pedicle screws. 2. Dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry technique (DEXA) 3. Osteoporotic cases ( fractures, degenerative and infection ) will be included in the study 4. Primary and secondary osteoporotic cases 5. Subject of age more than 30 to 80 year. 6. Patients or close relatives must be able to give voluntary written consent for prospective follow up. 7. Last 3 to 4 years retrospective Data will be collected for the study 8. Subjects , who had done post surgery radiological examination i.e. x-rays ( AP, LATERAL AND WHOLE SPINE STANDING ) will only be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients ,who will not be able to come for follow up will be excluded 2. Subjects who were having lytic tumors will be excluded 3. Patients ,whose pre operative x- rays were not collected

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
ï?¡ Documentations of Clinical improvement in terms of pain (VAS) , ODI, radiological outcomes and complications, if any with cement augmented pedicle screws.Timepoint: 12 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
ï?¡ If this study will prove the clinical and radiological improvement in subjects with osteoporotic spine, in future , this will be better to augment pedicle screws for osteoporotic spine cases.Timepoint: 12 months
