Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient willing to give written informed consent 2.Good oral hygiene 3.Medically healthy adult (ASA classification I-II, age >= 18 years old) 4.Non-smoker 5.Patients with a minimum buccal bone lamella of 0.5 mm thick. 6.Patients with teeth indicated for extraction in the esthetic zone (up to 2nd pre molars), e.g. a)Decayed teeth without Periapical pathology indicated for extraction b)Patients with vertical tooth fracture c)Patients with endodontically failed teeth

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant, intending to conceive or breast feeding 2.Patients who are undergoing radiation therapy 3.Patients with chronic or aggressive periodontitis 4.Teeth having more than or equal to Millers Grade II mobility 5.Teeth with recession 6.Labially inclined teeth 7.Teeth having root caries 8.Teeth with internal/external root resorption 9.Ankylosed teeth

MeasureTime frame
To assess the dimensional changes in the buccal bone plate after implant placement Timepoint: Duration of study will be 12 months data will be recorded. (at baseline, 6 months, 12 months)

MeasureTime frame
To assess buccofacial soft tissues changes after implant placement. Timepoint: 3,6,9,12,months
