Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patient of either sex at and above 60 years admitted in the medicine wards diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes mellitus and are on treatment with anti-hypertensives and anti-diabetics for a minimum period of 1 year patients whose renal profile was available after their admission to the hospital were included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: unable to give consent no sufficient data available patients with emergency life threatening surgical conditions were excluded
