Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 and ASA 2 Patients posted for surgery under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) duration of surgery >3 hours. 2) surgery involving the airway. 3) patients with history of respiratory disease or LRI. 4) >3 attempts at laryngoscopy or intubation.
